Heidi Gibson

partner + architect

Heidi Gibson, a founding partner and Project Architect at studio 2G Architects, stands out as a distinguished professional within the American Institute of Architects, holding LEED AP BD+C certification. Currently, she holds the position of Person In Charge, overseeing two Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with the General Services Administration (GSA). Heidi is dedicated to providing clients with a transformative journey, offering insights on how their projects can contribute to a healthy environment, conserve resources, and exhibit distinctive uniqueness. Her commitment to excellence is evident in the numerous awards her projects have received from both the AIA and local platforms

Growing up in a construction-centric environment, Heidi developed a deep appreciation for architecture, influenced by her parents' shared passion. Family vacations were dedicated to exploring architectural wonders. A former Weekend Warrior with the California Air National Guard, Heidi's experiences took her to remote locations globally in support of the Air Force. The values of sustainability and environmental consciousness, integral to her personal ethos, resonate in the projects undertaken by studio 2G.

With two college-bound children pursuing similar paths—one in interior design and the other in environmental management—Heidi's design philosophy centers around incorporating natural elements into constructed products. Her passion lies in introducing textures and elements that play with light and shadows, thereby shaping the overall ambiance of a project.
