We are actively seeking a creatively collaborative individual to join our team. The scope of design work encompasses new construction and renovation projects spanning federal, state, commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors.

  • We are seeking:

    A recent graduate, with a professional degree in architecture, with 0-2 years of experience to join our team. Qualifications should include:

    • Bachelor of Architecture degree

    • Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings, sketches, and information

    • Effective graphic visualization and rendering skills are required

    • Excellent communication (verbal) skills are a must

    • Able to support in the preparation of schematic design, design development, and construction documents under the supervision of an Architect, Project Manager or Job Captain

    • Generates revisions and corrections from redlined drawings and project document sets

    • Prepares and checks as-built drawings

  • We are seeking:

    An unlicensed Individual with a minimum of three years of full-time experience who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture. Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Independently solves problems encountered. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans. Has a good understanding of technical, building code and project coordination. Produces construction documents and coordinates with consultants and other associates. Some client management. Attends meetings with clients and jurisdictions. Will take lead on the completeness and accuracy of drawings and agency codes. Has the ability to coordinate and communicate with Architectural Associates and Interns to complete a job in time and on budget.

    Key Tasks:

    • Starts to manage a project’s budget - makes the Project Architect aware of the budget.

    • Starts to manage a project’s schedule - updates the schedule in SmartSheets and sends out updates and reminders to consultants.

    • Assists project architect in developing project documents for bidding and construction.

    • Responsible for the development and coordination of the drawings and specifications including; program compliance; code and agency compliance; schedule commitments; product research.

    • Organize and direct the architectural and/or engineering team to execute the work in an orderly, timely and coordinated manner.

    • Advise the project architect when the drawings and specifications are complete and ready to be issued.

    • Provide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project

    • Understands VectorWorks and can work efficiently in the program. Can research new techniques that can make the office more efficient and teach VW techniques to the office during monthly office meetings.

    • Understands the four phases (PD, SD, DD & CD) of a project enough to develop a drawing package, to include some details, without the support from a Project Manager.

    • Develop a Code Analysis at the beginning of a project with the help of a Project Manager.

    • Understands, supports and mentors interns and new hires on Office Standards and Organization.

    • Takes on and manages a Business Development task.

    • Efficiency level expectation is 80%.

  • We value the power of mentorship + work experience and offer part-time internships to students who are able to commit to the following:

    • Work with us initially on a 3 - 6 month formal internship (co-op) program through your school which will require you to work a min. of 22 hours/week.

    • After your formal internship with your school, we will require another year of working with the firm part-time. This part-time commitment will be a min. of 12 hours/week which will possibly happen while still attending school.

    • A minimum of 15 months with studio 2G.
