  • The accumulation of paid time off (PTO) is determined by the duration of an employee's tenure at the company. During the initial year, you can accrue up to 7 days of PTO.

    This is available for use to all regular full-time employees who have completed 90 days of employment.

  • studio 2G offers our employees nine (9) paid Holidays.

    • New Year’s Day

    • Memorial Day

    • Juneteenth

    • Independence Day

    • Labor Day

    • Thanksgiving & the Friday after

    • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

    Following six months of employment, every employee is granted a "Floating Holiday." This can be utilized at the employee's discretion, such as for occasions like Rosh Hashanah, Good Friday, or even their birthday, and is compensated at a rate of eight (8) hours' pay.

    Paid Holidays are available to all regular full-time employees who have completed 90 days of employment.

  • studio 2G employees are each eligible for a maximum of 40 paid sick hours per calendar year.

    This is available for use to all regular full-time employees who have completed 90 days of employment.

  • studio 2G offers group health insurance benefits to all eligible full-time employees who have completed 60 days of employment.

    All regular full-time employees who have completed 90 days of employment are eligible for the Company dental and vision plan.

    Your group health benefits are paid in part by the Company. The remainder of the costs are paid by you through deductions from your paycheck.

  • All regular full-time employees who have completed their 90 days will be enrolled in the Company’s accidental plan at no cost to the employee.

  • Part-time employees are offered the following benefits:

    • Retirement Plan with 3% match*

    • Flexible Working Hours

    • A $30/month parking stipend

    • Profit-share eligability

    • Quarterly Office Events

    • Up to 40 hours of Paid Sick Time

    *In a rare case, part-time employees may not be eligible

  • At studio 2G, our full-time employees have the chance to participate in a SIMPLE IRA, also recognized as the Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees of small employers.

    You have the flexibility to decide the amount you wish to contribute, which will be deducted from your paycheck. Additionally, studio 2G will match contributions up to 3%.

  • At studio 2G, employees can opt for one of four alternative workweek schedules, deviating from the standard 8-hour work day. These flexible schedules are designed to facilitate a more effective balance between work and personal life for our employees.

    A significant number of our staff opts for extended work hours, enticed by the prospect of enjoying three-day weekends or shorter Fridays.

  • As a benefit to full-time employees looking to become Licensed Architects in the State of California, studio 2G will reimburse the following fees incurred:

    • The yearly NCARB record fee for licensure candidates of $85 for the first 3 years of your employment.

    • One-time registration fee with the California Architects Board of $100

    • One-time payment for fingerprinting fees due to the California Architects Board requirements.

    • The testing fee of $235.00 per test (6 NCARB exams) if a passing grade is achieved.

    • The testing fee of $100 for the California Supplemental Exam, if a passing grade is achieved.

    • Up to 50% of the annual National, State, and Local Professional Organization Dues if you participate on the board or regularly volunteer with the Organization. The approved organizations are below. Other organization dues may be reimbursed upon prior approval.

      • American Institute of Architects (AIA)

      • Central Coast International Code Council (CCICC)

    • Payment of your California Architects Board renewal fee every 2 years.

  • The profit-sharing plan at studio 2G allows employees to receive a portion of the company's profits, determined by our bi-annual earnings.

    Due to the inherent volatility of small businesses, it's important to note that profit-sharing cannot be assured.

  • studio 2G extends a $60/month parking stipend to all our full-time employees, covering the cost of acquiring a parking pass in the vicinity.

    Additional stipends are also provided based on your role.

  • At studio 2G, we recognize the importance of fostering teamwork! Among our cherished benefits is organizing quarterly employee gatherings.

    These events encompass a variety of activities such as beach bonfires, watercolor lessons, yoga sessions, picnics, and, not to forget, our annual holiday party.
