Laura Gough, a Project Architect and one of the founders of studio 2G Architects, is a distinguished member of the American Institute of Architects and holds LEED AP BD+C certification. From the firm's inception, she has actively contributed to shaping studio 2G Architects' identity as a creative and sustainability-focused entity. Her commitment extends beyond innovation, emphasizing the importance of responsiveness and solution-oriented approaches in her daily work.

Laura excelled in high school, showcasing strengths in math and science. Throughout her high school years and the initial phase of junior college, she gained practical experience by working in both residential real estate and for a commercial developer. Interestingly, it was Laura's high school advisor who recommended exploring architecture as a potential path. Following this advice, she enrolled in a year of junior college courses, finding a genuine interest in the subject. This positive experience prompted her to transfer to Cal Poly the following year. Laura's journey into architecture evolved organically, with each academic and professional step guiding her toward a gratifying career.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Laura indulges in culinary arts and gardening, reflecting her diverse range of interests. Quality time with her dogs and husband brings her joy, and she's an avid hiker with a passion for exploring the outdoors. Laura's extensive travel experiences contribute to her well-rounded perspective, enriching both her work and personal life.
