Juan grew up in both Santa Barbara and Santa Maria. He began his higher education at Allen Hancock Community College in Santa Maria before transferring to Cal Poly Pomona for their Architecture program. 

Juan is a recent graduate from Cal Poly Pomona where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Architecture as well as an Associates Degree in Science. Juan finds his architectural passion materializes in the form of unique and customized spaces. Eventually, he is heading back to school but not necessarily for architecture. He is interested in exploring other opportunities possibly in Art, Photography, or History. 

While in school, he had to opportunity to work on several museum exhibition projects for LA design firms. Juan enjoys spending time watching movies- Rushmore and Lost In Translation being his all-time favorites. In addition to expanding his film knowledge; Juan is an avid reader, photographer, and music aficionado. On his days off, Juan would describe himself as a "wanderer". His perfect day would take place walking around a big city with his music, his camera, and no plan. Juan is also fluent in both Spanish and English and proficient in French!
