Alex Ayuso

arch associate

Alex was born and raised in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Throughout his life, he attended schools in the United States while living in Mexico, ultimately leading him to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, from which he graduated in 2024.

From a young age, Alex demonstrated a natural affinity for art and drawing, coupled with a strong aptitude for mathematics. This unique combination inspired his journey into architecture, despite having limited prior knowledge of the field.

Embarking on this path has proven to be a rewarding decision; Alex is passionate about architecture and aspires to become a licensed architect within the next five years. He also envisions pursuing a master’s degree in architecture, ideally on the East Coast, where he is drawn to the innovative architectural philosophies and theories. Ultimately, you will find Alex back in California where he hopes to open his own practice whilst sharing his knowledge through teaching.

Outside of architecture, Alex cherishes time spent with loved ones, especially his girlfriend. He enjoys engaging with various forms of media, including watching YouTube and playing League of Legends. You may also catch Alex being active through various means, including playing basketball and soccer, weightlifting, or doing pilates.

Alex’s ideal day begins with an early morning pilates session to energize and stretch his body. He then enjoys some quiet time at home before venturing outdoors for a walk, hike, or a game of basketball. After 4 PM, he relishes his evenings at home, embracing his inner homebody and unwinding in a comfortable environment.
